Georgia Outlaws High School Teams
The Georgia Lady Outlaws High School Lacrosse teams are dedicated to inspiring young players to develop a passion for the game, developing core lacrosse skills, promoting good sportsmanship and values and fostering a sense of family with their teammates.
Georgia Lady Outlaws High School Teams will be selected from 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades. Depending on the number of players trying out for any High School grade team, the players will be placed in teams following 2 tracks. Xposure track is for players who have an interest in playing in college. The Xposure teams will participate in tournaments that are designated as recruiting tournaments with national and regional college coaches in attendance and actively recruiting. The Xporsure teams will also have a dedicated recruiting coordinator to help navigate the college recruiting experience. Our Regional teams are still higher level- but geared more for the player who wants to be the best high school player she can be and doesn’t have a deep interest in playing in college.
Our teams will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Player’s age
- Skills level determined during tryouts and practices
- Player’s desire to travel regionally or nationally
- Desire to be recruited and play at college level
Summer season games typically begin in late May, early June and continue through July. Fall season games typically start in November and continue through December.
Practices will be scheduled once tournaments are selected and teams rosters are completed. Plan on having 4 to 6 practices before every tournament. Most practices are scheduled during the week at Newtown Park unless explicitly noted by the coaches.
Uniforms will be provided during practices before the first tournament of the season. There will be also the opportunity to get custom fit / custom made mouth-guards during the first practices.
